Dua lipa is an English artist and performer born on 22nd August 1995 from London United Kingdom. The model signed with Warner Bros Records after a several years of hard work. She dropped her self-titled debut album in the year 2017. It peaked at number three on the U.K. Albums Chart and produced eight singles which included Be the One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. number-one track New Rules which peaked at sixth in the United States. Lipa has won Brit Awards for 2018 in two categories: British Female Artist, British Breakthrough Act, and British. In addition, her platinum album has been praised throughout the world. Dua Lipa was born on August 22, 1995, in London in the UK to Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. By way of her maternal grandparents, Dua Lipa is Bosnian. Her ancestors are also identified back to the Kosovo city of Peja. Her grandfathers were historians as well. She is a sister to Rina Lipa, and has an older brother called Gjin. Her father, a musician and lead singer from the Kosovan group Oda has influenced her in a musical way. When she was at home, her father would perform his original compositions, along with songs from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics Stereophonics. Lipa started to sing when she was just six years old. When she was in her 9th year, she started singing at Sylvia Young Theater School.
